Now I am well aware that Christmas is not celebrated in all countries or even by all people but it is a festival that is observed by many people around the world so here are my thoughts as December 25 draws closer.

  • Celebrate your loved ones because they are the people who give you strength and courage throughout the year.
  • Think of those who will not be celebrating very much because of the poverty that they face.
  • Consider all the hunger in the world and how it could easily be solved
  • Homeless people need friends because it is something that can happen to anybody yet they will be cold and lonely at Christmas
  • Give thought to all the animals that are mistreated by their owners

You can do a lot to help by just spending a little less on yourself this festive season and then giving the money saved to a good cause of your choice. You alone will not make a difference but I am a great believer in 1+1=3 because people together will bring about change. Just do a little this Christmas to make the world a better place for both us, our children and their children.

Welcome to the 59p Site which is brought to you by Inaregee. You might find it a strange place as it brings together a collection of thoughts from the penguins who are behind Inaregee
