Many people come up with the idea of having a blog so that they can write about things that they are passionate about. They have no plans to make money from their work but just want to write about their favourite subject. A problem with that is that the pages look a little dull because they lack any graphics.

Adding a few adverts would help because that would bring the graphics in but that might not be what some people want. Putting in advertising does raise taxation questions for one

The answer is quite simple

There are places on the web that I would label as 'good causes' but could also be referred to as charity or non-profit. Some have banners that can be used that help them to raise money just by clicking on them. Others just link to their website.

My own preference is for the World Food Programme which is linked to the United Nations. Their free rice website is a fun way to help and it does no harm to any website owner to have the occasional link to it.

Welcome to the 59p Site which is brought to you by Inaregee. You might find it a strange place as it brings together a collection of thoughts from the penguins who are behind Inaregee
